Plans, top-ups & credits — explained
Everything about how AIR Workspace charges for usage: the credit system, the five credit types, every subscription plan, and every one-time top-up. If you only read one page before paying, read this one.
How the credit system works
AIR runs on a single credit system. Every AI generation deducts credits from your balance based on the type of output and how complex it is. There are five credit categories: text, image, voice, video and cloud storage. Each category has its own balance, and your live balance is visible across every AI Engine.
There are two ways to get credits, and they stack: a monthly subscription (a recurring allowance that resets each billing cycle) and one-time top-ups (a fixed bundle you buy once). When you generate something, AIR spends your credits regardless of where they came from.
The five credit types
Text credits
1–5 credits per promptPower every text engine — chat, scripts, titles, descriptions, SEO meta, tweets, threads, cold DMs, emails, blogs and resume bullets. Short prompts cost about 1 credit; long, multi-step generations cost up to 5. Text is by far the cheapest credit type, so you can iterate freely.
≈ 9 credits per imageUsed for AI image generation — thumbnails, logos, product photography, background removal, object removal and the image editor. A standard image is about 9 credits; high-resolution or advanced renders cost a little more. Rule of thumb: ~9 image credits ≈ 1 image.
Voice credits
≈ 9 credits per runDrive realistic AI voiceovers and text-to-speech across dozens of voices, plus premium live voice mode. A standard run is about 9 credits; longer scripts cost more. Rule of thumb: ~9 voice credits ≈ 1 run.
Video credits
720p 1m ≈ 7 · 1080p 1m ≈ 41 creditsThe most premium credit type, used for AI avatar video, faceless documentaries and short-form reels. Each video credit is $0.50 and pricing scales with length and quality. Standard 720p: 30s ≈ 4 · 1m ≈ 7 · 5m ≈ 34 credits. Premium 1080p: 30s ≈ 21 · 1m ≈ 41 · 5m ≈ 201 credits. (HeyGen tops out at 1080p — there is no 4K tier.)
Cloud storage
Measured in GB, not per-generationYour private Cloud keeps every generation, upload and saved asset so you can return to any past run. Storage isn't spent per generation — it's a capacity included with your plan, and you can add more permanently with a one-time storage top-up.
Subscription plans
Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial — cancel before day 7 and you won't be charged. Subscription credits are a monthly allowance: they refill at the start of each billing cycle and unused subscription credits do not roll over.

One-time top-ups
Top-ups are a single, one-time charge — no subscription, no auto-renewal. You pick one credit category, slide to the exact amount you need, and pay once. Each category has a fixed per-credit rate, so the total scales linearly with the quantity you choose. Top-up credits never expire — they sit in your balance until you actually use them, and they stack on top of any subscription credits you already have.

How every purchase is billed
- Processing fee. A 3% processing fee is included in every checkout total, for both subscriptions and top-ups.
- Payments. All payments are handled by PayPal. AIR never sees or stores your card details.
- Subscriptions. Charged monthly after the 7-day free trial and renew until you cancel from Account → Subscription. You keep access through the period you already paid for.
- Top-ups. A one-time charge that never re-bills. Nothing to cancel — the credits simply stay in your balance with no expiry date.
- Extra social accounts. Paid plans include one connected social account with auto-upload; additional accounts are $5/mo each, up to 20.
- Refunds. Charged subscription periods are non-refundable, but you can cancel any time to stop future billing. See the Refund Policy for details.
Cloud storage & your account
Every plan includes private Cloud storage that holds your generations, uploads and saved assets so you can revisit any past run. Storage capacity is set by your plan (200 MB on Free up to 10 GB on One Edge) and can be expanded permanently with a one-time storage top-up. You can delete any individual item, or your whole account, from your account settings at any time.
Free vs. paid — which should I pick?
Start on Free to try every AI Engine end-to-end with no card. When you need video, more monthly headroom, faster models or auto-upload, move to a paid plan. If your usage is occasional or spiky, skip the subscription entirely and grab a top-up in just the category you need — most users start with a small image or voice top-up and create dozens of pieces from it.
