Plans, top-ups & credits — explained

Everything about how AIR Workspace charges for usage: the credit system, the five credit types, every subscription plan, and every one-time top-up. If you only read one page before paying, read this one.

How the credit system works

AIR runs on a single credit system. Every AI generation deducts credits from your balance based on the type of output and how complex it is. There are five credit categories: text, image, voice, video and cloud storage. Each category has its own balance, and your live balance is visible across every AI Engine.

There are two ways to get credits, and they stack: a monthly subscription (a recurring allowance that resets each billing cycle) and one-time top-ups (a fixed bundle you buy once). When you generate something, AIR spends your credits regardless of where they came from.

The five credit types

Text credits

1–5 credits per prompt

Power every text engine — chat, scripts, titles, descriptions, SEO meta, tweets, threads, cold DMs, emails, blogs and resume bullets. Short prompts cost about 1 credit; long, multi-step generations cost up to 5. Text is by far the cheapest credit type, so you can iterate freely.

≈ 9 credits per image

Used for AI image generation — thumbnails, logos, product photography, background removal, object removal and the image editor. A standard image is about 9 credits; high-resolution or advanced renders cost a little more. Rule of thumb: ~9 image credits ≈ 1 image.

Voice credits

≈ 9 credits per run

Drive realistic AI voiceovers and text-to-speech across dozens of voices, plus premium live voice mode. A standard run is about 9 credits; longer scripts cost more. Rule of thumb: ~9 voice credits ≈ 1 run.

Video credits

720p 1m ≈ 7 · 1080p 1m ≈ 41 credits

The most premium credit type, used for AI avatar video, faceless documentaries and short-form reels. Each video credit is $0.50 and pricing scales with length and quality. Standard 720p: 30s ≈ 4 · 1m ≈ 7 · 5m ≈ 34 credits. Premium 1080p: 30s ≈ 21 · 1m ≈ 41 · 5m ≈ 201 credits. (HeyGen tops out at 1080p — there is no 4K tier.)

Cloud storage

Measured in GB, not per-generation

Your private Cloud keeps every generation, upload and saved asset so you can return to any past run. Storage isn't spent per generation — it's a capacity included with your plan, and you can add more permanently with a one-time storage top-up.

The Supercomputer — engines, modes & how text is billed

The Supercomputer is the one chat that runs everything — text, images, voiceovers, video, downloadable documents and live web research — from a single prompt. Two controls shape every answer:

  • Engine (which model answers). Pick from Gemini 3.5 Flash (fast everyday), Gemini 3.1 Pro (deeper Gemini), Claude Sonnet 5 (expert reasoning) and the flagship Claude Opus 4.8 — or leave it on Air Max, the AI Operating System that understands your goal, plans it, and routes each part through the right pipeline of models per message (see the chart below). This is how you can test Claude Opus and Sonnet without a separate Claude subscription, even on the Free plan.
  • Response mode (how long the answer is). Flash returns one quick line, Standard a balanced answer, and Deep Research a long, cited, expert report that browses the live web. Air Max matches the depth to your message. Mode is independent of the engine, so a powerful model can still reply in one line on Flash, and Deep Research takes visibly longer than Flash.

Text credits, priced fairly. Every message shows its estimated credits before you send, and that estimate is what you're charged. The cost is computed from the real model price × the answer length, always holding the same margin — so a short Flash reply on a light engine stays around 1 credit, while a long Deep Research answer on Claude Opus costs more because it writes far more. If an answer runs longer than estimated, the charge reconciles to the true token usage; short and typical messages are unaffected and cost exactly the estimate you saw.

More than copy-paste. AIR routes each task to an already-trusted model and optimizes the output for your exact request — structured, formatted, and on-topic — rather than handing you raw model text. Documents (PDF, Word, slides, spreadsheets) and images carry their own small surcharge on top of the text credits, shown up front.

Air Max — the AI Operating System

Air Max is not one model — it's an AI Operating System. It understands your goal, plans it, runs a team of AI agents, and delivers finished work. Every message first passes through the Intelligence Kernel (which reads the true goal, deliverables, domains and constraints) and the Planning Engine (which breaks a real project into an ordered workflow). Simple asks take the fast path — a single focused pass. From there the message is classified into one of 30 use-case levels (L1 easiest → L30 hardest), each running its own pipeline of models (lead → specialist → critic → final), then reviewed and assembled. You're billed against the real per-stage cost, so the same fair margin holds everywhere.

One-time top-ups

Top-ups are a single, one-time charge — no subscription, no auto-renewal. Slide up any credit categories you want (from $5, in $5 steps), and everything you pick is bundled into one payment. Each category has a fixed per-credit rate, so the total scales linearly with the quantity you choose. Top-up credits never expire — they sit in your balance until you actually use them, and they stack on top of any subscription credits you already have.

Text top-up

$0.0005 / credit· $5 – $50 (10,000 – 100,000 credits)

Slide from $5 to $50 in $5 steps. Every $5 adds 10,000 text credits.

Image top-up

Permanently expand your Cloud capacity in $5 steps. Every $5 adds 5 GB.

How every purchase is billed

  • No extra fees. The price you see is the price you pay — there are no processing fees or surcharges on subscriptions or top-ups.
  • Payments. All payments are handled by PayPal. AIR never sees or stores your card details.
  • Subscriptions. Charged monthly after the 7-day free trial and renew until you cancel from Account → Subscription. You keep access through the period you already paid for.
  • Top-ups. A one-time charge that never re-bills. Nothing to cancel — the credits simply stay in your balance with no expiry date.
  • Extra social accounts. Paid plans include one connected social account with auto-upload; additional accounts are $5/mo each, up to 20.
  • Refunds. Charged subscription periods are non-refundable, but you can cancel any time to stop future billing. See the Refund Policy for details.

Cloud storage & your account

Every plan includes private Cloud storage that holds your generations, uploads and saved assets so you can revisit any past run. Storage capacity is set by your plan (200 MB on Free up to 32 GB on One Edge) and can be expanded permanently with a one-time storage top-up. You can delete any individual item, or your whole account, from your account settings at any time.

Free vs. paid — which should I pick?

Start on Free to try every AI Engine end-to-end with no card. When you need video, more monthly headroom, faster models or auto-upload, move to a paid plan. If your usage is occasional or spiky, skip the subscription entirely and grab a top-up in just the category you need — most users start with a small image or voice top-up and create dozens of pieces from it.
